Estimated Results for the 2012 Coulee Region Polar Plunge: 1,400 Dashers and Plungers raised $210,450
The Polar Plunge is for everyone! With two ways to participate even those who prefer to keep their feet on dry land can support Special Olympics Wisconsin and be a part of all the fun! Event participants can register totake the Plunge or sign up as "Too Chicken to Plunge". "Chickens" can still raise donations and join a team. They will even get their own t-shirt proclaiming "I was Too Chicken to Plunge".
The Coulee Region Polar Plunge offers two days of fun including "Toss your Boss" and a pre-party on Friday night to warm up for Saturday’s festivities. Saturday’s events include the Polar Dash, Blazin’ Wing Eating contest and of course the plunge! Don’t forget to wear your costumes!
All proceeds from the Polar Plunge will benefit Special Olympics Wisconsin and the City of La Crosse Parks & Recreation Special Olympics program.
